    This massive wall clock measuring in at 44" tall by 39" wide is one of the most rare pieces of wood I have come across. It is a cross-section cut  of the the tree and the attached wood burl. I did not want to tear its natural form away from it to put it in a circular frame and chose to let it stay freeing its natural shape. IT IS MASSIVE! awaiting a truly uniques space and owner... 

    Burls are a growth anomaly that happens on trees and can be caused by disease or insects. The tree continues to grow them and they become very sought after woods due to their incredible natural patters that the wood produces and rarity. This burl was harvested in the early 1970's and is very rare to see something in this size and age. 

    This is a perfect additions to your home or office decor. It will be a continuous source of conversation!!

    Description and Specifications

    Our handmade clocks are built in Elora, Ontario. Each clock is build using sustainable sourced wood. Our wood is salvaged from urban tree removal. We mill and kiln dry the wood ensuring the wood is dry and stable and that nothing is living in the wood.

    Each piece is meticulously designed, considering the shape of the wood and the flow of the wood grain. We focus on highlighting the woods uniqueness. Paying tribute to the beauty of natures creations.

    We take great care and pride in our pieces; we produce very limited quantities as our focus is on producing the most unique pieces of functional art.

    Sizing of our clocks are measured in inches, and this represents the outside diameter of the clock ring or the longest distance in the case of free shaped wood clocks.

    Installation – Depending on the size of the clock that you order and its weight, you will be supplied with an appropriate mounting system. You will need some basic tools like a small hammer and screwdriver set. Full installation instructions will be provided with your purchase.

    Maintenance – There is very little maintenance require for your clock. The clock movement itself will need a battery replacement from time to time. The operational length of time will depend on the size clock you purchase. This will require removing the clock from the wall, replacing the battery and resetting the time. This is a great time to dust the clock with a duster or damp cloth. Carefully place it back on the wall – That’s it!!!

    Shipping – Your purchase will be shipped within 3 business days. We also offer local pickup in Elora, Ontario for those that are within driving distance. Elora is a beautify day trip or weekend getaway destination!
