32" Wooden Wall Clock handmade from Black Walnut - CL237
This live edge piece of Black Walnut has a unique story behind it. Time has taken it’s toll. The tree became subject to the destruction of the carpenter ants who took advantage of it weakening limbs in its last years of life. Thankfully this wood could be savaged, and its wonderful story could be captured in this wonderful functional work of art.
Please note: the wood has been heat treated to assure nothing living remains in the wood.

Description and Specifications
Our handmade clocks are built in Elora, Ontario, Canada.
Each clock is built using sustainably sourced wood. Our wood is
salvaged from urban tree removal. We mill and kiln dry the wood ensuring the
wood is dry and stable and that nothing is living in the wood.
Each piece is meticulously designed. Each of our pieces is is a result of the artist perspective that considers the
shape of the wood and the flow of the wood grain. We focus on highlighting the uniqueness of the woods and paying tribute to the beauty of nature's creations.
We take great care and pride in our pieces.
We produce very limited quantities as our focus is on producing the most unique
pieces of functional art.
Sizing of our clocks are measured in inches which represents the outside diameter of the clock ring or the longest distancein the case of free shaped wood clocks.
Application – This clock is designed for indoor use only. It
is not designed to be contact with any moisture. It can work in temperatures from
0C to 40C. It can be placed in covered verandas but should be put in heated
storage for the winter months.
Installation – Depending on the size of the clock that you
order and its weight, you will be supplied with an appropriate mounting system.
You will need some basic tools like a small hammer and screwdriver set. Full
installation instructions will be provided with your purchase.
Maintenance – There is very little maintenance required
for your clock. The clock movement itself will need a battery replacement from
time to time. The operational length of time will depend on the size clock you
purchase. This will require removing the clock from the wall, replacing the
battery and resetting the time. This is a great time to dust the clock with a
duster or damp cloth. Carefully place it back on the wall – That’s it!!!
