Hard Maple Handmade Wall Clock – 18" Diameter No.1815

I make clocks because, for me, it's pure creation. A clock asks me to follow only a few rules, which leaves me free to let the wood and the moment shape the rest.

This old piece of maple tells a story of time. Along the left side, a branch broke away, and the tree spent years healing as it grew into the cavity, creating the wild flare you see throughout the wood. It's time and healing, many years captured in a single moment.

Hard Maple, also known as Sugar Maple, is prized for its strength and fine, consistent grain. Its creamy white to light golden tones create a clean and timeless look, often accented by subtle figuring or occasional dark streaks. Durable and elegant, Hard Maple clocks bring a bright warmth to any space while showcasing the quiet beauty of Ontario’s native hardwoods.
